Krishnan received his Bachelor's degree (B.
Tech.) in Computer Science from the Indian Institute
of Technology, Madras in 1991. He received his
M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of
North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1993 and 1997,
respectively. In 1997, he join AT&T Research
Labs as a Senior Technical Staff Member. His main
research interests are 3D computer graphics, geometric
and solid modeling, computer algebra and robust
geometric computation. He is a member of the SIAM
