Stephen North manages Information Visualization Research as an Executive Director of Technical Research. He is interested in software for interactively exploring abstract graphs (networks), information visualization of large databases, and software systems for infovis. He received a B.Sc. from Montclair State College in 1980 and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Princeton University in 1986.
