Stephen
North manages Information Visualization Research.
He is interested in software for displaying and
interactively exploring abstract graphs (networks)
and in cartograms and displays of dense point sets on maps.
He received a B.Sc. from Montclair State College
in 1980 and a Ph.D. in Computer Science
from Princeton University in 1986.
